Whether you’re a first-time homeowner, an experienced DIY enthusiast, a Habitat volunteer, or simply interested in learning practical home improvement skills, our Habitat Tool Belt Woekshop is perfect for you!

Hosted by Monroe County Habitat for Humanity, Habitat Tool Belt Workshop is a free monthly educational series that provides hands-on instruction in home maintenance, tool safety, and DIY projects. Each workshop is led by experienced Habitat jobsite supervisors and skilled volunteers who share the knowledge and techniques they use every day while building and repairing homes throughout Monroe County.

No previous experience is required. Each session is designed to be welcoming, educational, and practical for participants of all skill levels.

Workshop topics vary throughout the year and cover a wide range of homeownership and DIY subjects. Previous sessions have included Safely Operating a Table Saw and Home Electrical Safety & Maintenance, with many additional topics planned for future workshops.
